Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show celebrates its 20th Anniversary this year. Special celebrations, a new anniversary logo and demonstrations are all in the works. Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show (then known as the Outdoor Farm Show) was first launched on September 13, 14 and 15, 1994 in Burford, ON. In the 19 years since, the show has grown into one of North America’s premier farm shows for exhibitors and attendees. 2013 is on track to continue that tradition.
As our nation’s premier outdoor agricultural showcase, Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show offers “one stop shopping” for farmers and highlights the most innovative and technologically advanced agricultural products and services available.

Last year there were over 41,500 visitors to the show. There are tractor-driven people-movers to take people to and from the demonstration fields and parking. We have approximately 50 acres of exhibit space and it is packed with over 725 exhibitors. The site is turf grass so it is easy to walk.

There will be livestock, crop, equipment and energy features this year along with demonstrations.

“COME CELEBRATE” is the theme for the 2013 International Plowing Match and Rural Expo. Come celebrate the 100thanniversary of the first Plowing Match. Come celebrate the link between furrow and food. Come celebrate the rich heritage of the agricultural way of life.
For five days in the third week of September, 2013, all roads will lead to Nulandia Dairy Farms, 5783 Line 36, West Perth, Perth County. A Tented City will rise up from the grassroots of the fertile soil. Across from Tented City will be an RV Park laid out as camp sites. An estimated 1500 plus RV vehicles will bring visitors to this RV Park and more than 1000 volunteers to the 2013 IPM will be on hand to welcome them in the RV Park and in Tented City.
The IPM is considered Canada’s Largest Outdoor Exhibition! This year is no different. With approximately 600 displays in one location it is safe to say that there will be something on site of interest to everyone! One of the focuses of the IPM is to feature exhibitors who carry a theme of Rural Living and Agriculture products. There are also many activities and demonstrations available for town people and summer tourists, all planned with the family in mind. In addition to the displays, there are several entertainment stages and education activities will be available to enjoy. The Lifestyles Area is a popular attraction for the Ladies.
The IPM “Tented City”, a large city of tents, is of such magnitude you may not get to see it all in one day! Be sure to get involved and participate, many exhibitors encourage you to “Ride and Drive” or test some of their products on site. Instead of trying to list for you everything you could see at the IPM, it might be better to say…everything you can imagine!
